This was nicely said and much needed. I hope that more people read it. I've always said when someone asks what I would need when I'm in a PTSD episode (seems they just don't recognize and reach out their hands either.) And simple respond by saying the I just would like someone to sit with me. That's it. No sage advice from the gurus. Just shut up and let me know you're there. I can only speak for myself though and do not in anyway feel this should be the universal response. Thank you for sharing!
