Thank you for this courageous piece. It difficult to accept my new normal sometimes. I think I'll always struggle with it at times. But, for the most part, I've learned to embrace it. PTSD has profoundly altered my life. It's easy for me to get caught up in the mourning of who I used to be - telling people, I wasn't always like this. I have to be careful because that kind of thinking can make me start to circle the drain. Chin up!
