I really appreciate your message. 11 years of sobriety and I (gratefully) still shudder at the thought of all those "hot messes" I managed to create. I don't glorify any of it or romance it. But I cannot allow myself to forget it. I will always be perfectly capable of repeating it all if I ever pick up again. Thank you for sharing your story courageously. Life is good!!
